like. for reals. why has this been the longest week ever? did any of you watch the office last night? michael scott pretty much nailed it when he defined depression as the number one danger in the workplace. you can watch the 2 minute episode recap here. watch it - its hysterical.

so i've been cooking a lot lately and made these enchiladas this week. i did mine with grilled tofu, onions & zucchini instead of the chicken. they turned out pretty rad! i included the green olives but don't think they mattered in the vegetarian version. definitely include them if you go with chicken however.

i saw nancy pelosi at mollie stones on tuesday when i was picking up the last minutes for the above mentioned enchiladas. i'm a little annoyed with myself for not snapping a photo to share with you all but i guess part of me didn't want to be "that girl" and i was actually rather bugged she was there. i mean - its bad enough that all of pacific heights has been fooled into thinking mollie stones is super rad but now nancy pelosi? anywho for those of you that are curious she purchased a mini baguette and was accompanied by two secret-service looking types and a black SUV.

i'm sorry madame speaker but this market is horribly overpriced
and nothing is as fresh as it seems

hey! so lastly let me share with you what was definitely the highlight of my week. i received yesterday a package in the mail from the lovely miss annie. and what was inside to my delight and surprise? a vintage cookbook from the u of o mothers club! i LOVE it! thanks annie for the super thoughtful and awesome gift.

someone wants to host a 1976 themed tailgate...
